I would buy another one or the other brighter ones in a heartbeat. Charges easy, setup is easy, super compact, and I love the 180° light when you don't need the full lantern lighting. If your thinking about getting a light like this, this is the brand you want.

My brother-in-law has a 1200 model but this 800 model still pushes a lot of light out. I took this camping twice already. Me and my wife think this is a gold standard for camping. Highly recommended if it goes on sale. Battery lasts about 4 hours solid construction. Easy to use too if you read the instructions. Super compact and lightweight

This light is bright and illuminates a decent area when extended upward. I have used this in the pitch dark while out camping and you can easily see everything around you. It’s very easy to use and operate. I recommend also purchasing the “light filters†with this purchase to reduce the amount of insects you attract. This product is worth the money.

This is my 3rd Devos Light. They are my go to light for camping! I also have a mini and a LightRanger 2000. Fast set up and long lasting, and keeps the bugs away.

I initially bought the Devos LightRanger for camping, and it quickly became one of our must-have items. The lamp extends up to 8 feet, casting a wide beam that’s perfect for outdoor use. Its battery life is impressive, lasting through the night when dimmed for late-night nature calls. We’ve also found it indispensable around the house. Whether for projects, painting, or providing extra light for early morning BBQs, the LightRanger is our go-to light for everything.I’m so impressed with this lamp that my next purchase will be the Devos mini tripod, replacing the Coleman propane lantern we’ve been using for over 20 years. I absolutely love this lamp and wouldn’t hesitate to buy a second or even a third.

My wife and I purchased the Devos Ranger 1200 Kickstarter pledge. We have been very, very happy with that light and it has served us well.We thought this would be a good light, based on that experience. We were wrong. At full charge, this light on the brightest setting only shown 663 Lumines when measured through a photometer. After 30 seconds it dropped to 579 Lumines. After ten minutes the light dulled to 439 Lumines.Compared to the Ranger 1200, this performance is just not acceptable. I don't know if they've used a new manufacturer or what, but it's made me reconsider buying another Ranger 1200, which we had planned to do.Happy Shopping!

This works great to illuminate a large space at work or home during an outage. It extends high enough so it doesn’t mess with your line of sight and hurt your eyes and has a handy dimming feature to provide exactly the light you need/want. Surprisingly long battery life on a single charge. Only down side is that I wanted to use it on a camping trip but the mosquitoes and moths go after it big time. Maybe that’s ok if you put it a little ways outside of camp. Easy to pack and carry when collapsed and in the case. Very durable.

Works great for power outages and when you need extra lighting inside or outside.
