It's optimized for a wide range of tools and applications including SDS Plus Rotary Hammers for drilling and chipping, percussion hammer drills, drywall cutout tools, sanders, routers, and jig saws. When used in conjunction with the correct shroud and a rotary hammer, this extractor is part of an OSHA 1926.1153 Table 1 compliant solution. (The dust box includes a HEPA filter.) With its multiple connection points, this wearable dust extraction solution allows the user to position the dust extractor for the best possible ergonomic solution. Equipped with WIRELESS TOOL CONTROL, the user links the extractor and tool for remote extractor activation. It has 45% more capacity than DWH302DH dust box to keep up with the demands of the user.

Huge waste of money, product constantly clogs and requires user to stop working constantly. Sucks up dust for about 5 minutes and then creates a huge mess. Doesn’t come with an adapter to hook up a dewalt sander either. I wish I would’ve sent this back after I used the first time and got a refund. Learn from my mistake, avoid this product.

Had to order quick connector adapter. The adapter was too big for vac hose. So i used an old shop vac attachment cut extra part off. Fit snugg in adatoer then hose fits snug in cut peice.

As they say, I am a DeWalt man... with that said I am unimpressed with this tool. Its sold as a dust extractor, but you have to spend an additional $60-200 to make this thing functional as a dust collector or mini vacuum. Minus one star for no integral hose storage and minus one star for not including hose attachments. I would pass on this if you are looking for a compact vacuum, its definitely overpriced. You are paying for the auto start/stop function with the higher end industrial-grade tools.

Great concept, weak execution. This thing is severely underpowered. Not sure if there is a way to fix that give. it is a battery. All of my other 20v Dewalt tools seem to have plenty of power for most applications, but this thing provides next to no suction. Unfortunate given the convenience that a cordless dust extractor would have provided.I’ve tried with my palm sander, trim router, and circular saw. Every application results in about 60-70% of the dust getting all over. When I attach my household vacuum to these tools it sucks up 95% of the dust.

Better than nothing - just. Barely any suction - good for keyboard cleaning, if that. Don't waste your money.
