To help reduce these costs, whenever possible he installed a machine to handle specific needs. One fine day, M. DEWALT was hired to head a wood mill, manufacturing numerous products, from basic boxes to complete houses. The amount of work exceeded the company's capacity by far, but its owner could not afford to increase the headcount. The only solution was to ensure his men produced more work. M. DEWALT built a yoke, which he connected directly to a motor and a saw. He then fitted it onto a standard arm. The saw could be raised, lowered, moved forward and backward, and adapted to all types of angles. With this system, he could handle the same amount of work as four men, reducing labor costs beyond his wildest imagination.

These are just as advertised. They sizes are metric (mm) which accounts for the strange numbers.

This is an excellent drill set for the price. I wish the will have a set with the standard and long lengths. It work pretty well but if you use it for solid concrete and brick, they will do the job but I think they won't last as long as you like too. Overall, great little set.

Disclaimer - I'm not Bob Vila, but I know which end of a drill to hold. There are a few issues with the product that caused me problems, and turned a quick project into a really long project.1) the container it comes in is really flimsy, and the bits don't stay in their notches. They were all mixed up when I got them.2) The bits do not have hex shanks, so then I had to go buy an adapter. (Ok, that one was my fault, I guess - I thought the bases were all the same).3) I am familiar with standard and metric sizes, but even after a LOT of googling and searching on the topic, I still have NO IDEA what these size numbers mean. I can see that there is some standard for "#4" or "#5", but I can't make any sense of it in the context of my project.The takeaway: Only buy this product if you are a HIGHLY EXPERIENCED PROFESSIONAL. Otherwise, unless you like making guesses about hole sizes, these drill bits are pretty useless.
