I already own another type of plug like this, but the problem is, the switch is on the side, which in my case means it's on the bottom, so I can't see if the plug is on or not! The benefit is that you can use two of those per outlet. This is the only plug where the switch is in front, which is much better, you can use it anywhere, though you can't use two on the same outlet (no space). The box says this is rated at 15A, 1800W. I am using it on a 1550W air fryer, and works great, doesn't trip off prematurely. I was worried at first about its being a surge protector that it might trip too easily, but it didn't happen. I always check to make sure that all my switch lights are off, for safety. I'm very happy to find this switch. It's a little more expensive, but the front switch is a big benefit because you can see it from any direction, which is easier to notice and safer. I am pleased so far.

WELL MADE AND RELIABLE, BEEN USING THESE FOR A COUPLE YEARS AND THEY ARE GREAT. I USE THEM FOR AUDIO COMPONENTS THAT LACK POWER SWITCHES AND TO POWER UP ITEMS THAT ARE OUT OF REACH. I USE A PAIR FOR PLUG-IN AIR FRESHNERS, THEY USE THE OIL UP IN LESS THAN A MONTH IF YOU LEAVE THEM ON SO THESE LET YOU TURN THEM ON FOR AN HOUR THEN BACK OFF. BETTER THAN UNPLUGGING AND HAVING TO STASH THEM HOPING THEY DON'T SPILL. THE ITEMS I USE DRAW AROUND500 WATTS AND THEY'VE HELD UP FINE WITH NO ISSUES.

I don't like to leave the plugs of electric heating devices in the sockets or outlets because it is dangerous. That's why I purchased these switches. It is convenient now so that I don't have to unplug and plug again and over again. And I can apparently figure out whether it is turned on or not.

Tengo otros adaptadores de este tipo, pero tienen entrada para sólo 2 clavijas, y la posición del switch para apagar y prender el adaptador no es tan funcional. Estos están excelentes para el uso que requiero
