I used a Butterfly paddle before but can’t have powerful top spin. Finally I found this one that is double the cost but has more powerful spin and easier control. I had a better result in the tournament. It’s definitely suitable for an intermediate player who is looking for a reasonable cost paddle.DHS is a well known Chinese brand. The person in picture on the paddle is a well known world champion.

Im no pro by any means, i just play casually. As a hobby? Anyways in my opinion, the hurricane 3 gives good speed and the g888 is decent for control and spin. Only reason i gave it 4 stars is because i find it a bit heavy. Maybe ill get used to it with time.

If you want a fast paddle then do not buy this. Nothing in the description mentioned that it was for defense. The rubber is extremely sticky and even trying to bounce the ball sometimes the ball stuck.

Was looking forward to this paddle as a replacement to the Butterfly brand paddle I've had for 6 years.Upon receiving the paddle and openning up I immediately felt the heaviness of the paddle. Weighing it on a kitchen scale, it came in at 201 grams which is about 25 grams more than what was advertised on the product description of 0.39 lbs (~176 grams)Moreover, compared to my current paddle at 158 grams, it felt alot heavier.As a more defensive player, having a paddle that is 25% heavier than what I'm currently using is not ideal.I'm thinking of returning this paddle, and will be searching for another paddle equivalent in spec but lighter.
