These are great drills for going through hard porcelain tile - I have tried others before and these hold up very well , as others did not and failed after drilling 2 holes - thanks

Great tile bits not cheap at all perfect for installing grab bars and shower door rails.

I was able to finish the job (drilling 8 to 16 holes in tile and backer). However, it was harder than it needed. As a core hole drill, the hole is easily clogged in these bits. The core pieces you drill out get stuck and stop your drilling progress.

Our new condo has porcelain tile in the shower. My main concern was not to crack it. I know it is slow work but not as much trouble as replacing tile. I was surprised how much faster using these bits and following their directions were than other bits I've used. Others have mentioned that they ware out quick, but I got 4 1/4 holes with my first bit and it looks as if it is good for 1 or 2 more. Two things I've learned; using a plug in drill has more torch and works better than a battery operated drill. Having someone who can sprite water constantly while you are drilling really helps.

Great drill bits. I had to install a grab bar in our cultured marble shower. The pointed bit dug in and kept centered on the exact spot I marked. Then the diamond bit finished the round hole. Only used one diamond bit for six holes but I dipped it in a bottle of water about every 10 seconds of drilling. Saw a lot of YouTube videos for the technique.

I used a set of Birschnittdiamond bits to drill holes in two layers of porcelin tile in one of our showers. One bit per hole did yhe job!
