Did the job cleanly. I recommend you watch some youtube videos for tips on how to drill the tiles without major tear-out or fractures. That's what I did, and when it came time to put the rubber to the road, these performed like a champ.

I used these to drill tie-down holes in high-fired ceramic bonsai pots and they worked perfectly. No blowouts on the other side at all, just clean, smooth holes in every pot. I took my time and ran a trickle of water from a hose while drilling. The results are about as good as they could possibly be.

Disclaimer: I did receive this via the Vine program, and my thanks to the manufacturer and Amazon for providing this! When I saw this set, with "hard materials" in the description, I figured, what did I have to lose? I'd like to think my test is as "real world" as one can get. We have an external security door that needed a few new screw holes, and I just didn't have any bits strong enough to punch through the thick steel covering. It didn't matter that I used all kinds of bits, including those meant for "metal," and my corded drill for as much power as I could get.If you only need one of these bits for only one job, it can still be worth the price to save your sanity, like it has for me. The pointed bit can get you started, and then the rest can widen the hole. No need for water, no need to back off to keep things from overheating. Just drill, baby, drill!
