150 grit works well removing whatever sticks out or is uneven quickly. Reduces effort. I Like it better than my hand sanders, but use the little hand sanders to refine the area after using this rasp. Love it.

It is just a file, but it is….. Disappointing. Not even close to straight. Handle is underwhelming. Embarrassing to be in box with quality tools. Will have to keep looking for something better.

Perfect for when you need to reset a grind angle, or just hog off some metal for clearance or such. Advertised as being around 120 grit, I’d say more like 80 grit. You won’t use this to hone a edge but will reset a bevel to desired angle or establish a new one in little time with minimal effort.
