How To Test Diamond
Turn on the switch.
Make sure only 1 light is lighting up on the scale.
Wait few seconds for the probe to heat up until Lamp on ready OK.
Turn on the lights numbers corresponding to the indoor temperature and diamond weight.
If don't know. Set 4 lights is lighting up on the scale.
Use the diamond discriminator probe to make 90-degree contact with the measured object, and observe the indicator light change.
It needs a little bit of force to stop it on the diamond surface and make full contact.
If unsuccessful, please repeat the second step.

Good took but the holder needs fixing, all the parts fall out constantly from their slot's very irritating with them falling out everywhere everytime you open to use them, gotta tape them down and untape every use

I wanted an inexpensive handheld diamond tester, so I bought this, and it works as described. It came with a battery, which was pretty sweet and convenient. The diamond tester comes with a case, which isn't as badly produced as it could be, which, truthfully, was also kind of a surprise. Honestly, overall a bit shocked at the value, and I was not paid for this review.

Very easy to use and helped me testmoissanite stones. Every item I have bought from Amazon advertised as moissanite tested positive, but from outside sites Not. Makes me feel more confident about purchases from Amazon.
