I honestly didn't think I would like a fabric type cover but it was just so gorgeous I had to give it a chance. The lock is so cute but be sure you keep track of the keys! I lost one but luckily they come with two so the other key I put around the neck of a doll so I don't lose it.It's got beige/brown lined pages. Personally I prefer squared or graph paper, but I'm willing to give this one a chance! It's fairly thick which is nice for someone like myself who writes pages at a time. I use a pilot g-2 pen and there's not bleed through. Overall so pretty and I cannot wait to buy my gf one for valentines!

Gifted this to my nieces for Christmas. They instantly fell in love with them, and, honestly, upon seeing the quality of the packaging and of the journal itself, I wanted one for me! If you are looking for a gift for a child in your life, let me tell you this: I remember being little and getting my own journal with a lock and key. It made me feel like a big girl, and I loved having the ability to write my own private thoughts. It’s such a special feeling. My nieces are 10 and 7. They INSTANTLY wrote their first entries in their journals when they received them on Christmas morning. A beautiful gift for anyone. Vibrant color, stunning quality, exceeded my expectations. :)

This was an affordable gift to a teenager as she tries journaling for the first time. This was something she felt would help her as she learned to write. The color is great, the pages allowed her room to express her thoughts and the book was sturdy, nice material to write on with lots of pages. Most of all she liked this journal because she could lock it. I like the security as well as the opportunity to improve her writing skills through this format. Thanks.

It's so pretty, and well worth it. I love how its sparkly but the sparkles don't come off, feels very soft, good for any writings you want to use it for, i love the pen that comes with it works great! 💖

I love this journal it works so perfectly. The only thing I would watch out for is at the pen holder is folded in the back so make sure you look for that.
