Perfect! Really helped to make my living-room brighter without having to add an extra lamp. Only works for lamps that have enough space for the two bulbs, so it won’t work for lamps that have the metal harp over the bulb, just FYI.

We have two very large carriage lights at the top of our driveway that have a single socket. The mission style light fixtures are also made of milky art glass so they do not do much to light the area no matter what watt but I put into the single socket. I wondered if anyone made a two socket adapter and was pleasantly surprised when I found these. They are exactly as described and worked to double the light output in the fixture as hoped. The area is now quite well lit so I am pleased.I would have rated 5 stars but I needed to bend the tabs inside the adapter sockets up further so they contacted the bottom of the bulbs. They were too flat and bulb tip was not making contact. This is something they can easily fix in production. Not ideal as the average person might try to do so while the adapter sockets are installed and will then get quite the jolt.Be sure to only put in a fixture that is large enough to accommodate and do not exceed the fixture bulb rating if an indoor fixture or there is a risk of fire. I installed in large outdoor fixtures where air flow is more than adequate and I also installed LED bulbs which do not generate the same heat as an incandescent bulb.

These work well and for the price it is a great buy. Don’t expect heavy duty but for everyday use they are great!!

Our basement has always been a bit dark and I'm not a fan of going down there to do laundry. I purchased 4 of these and wow what a difference! With the right light bulbs it makes a day and night difference. The assembly is so easy too! It fits the standard light bulbs which is great.
