The lock-down pins were slightly oversized, had to remove the black ball ends, place the shafts in a cordless drill to rotate while simultaneously polishing via scotch-brite grinding pad to get the diameter down where they would work.

Cam and fuel pump pins didn’t fit in the holes, had to grind them down in order to lock in the Cam and fuel pump. Crank shaft locking tool fit perfectly.

Wanted to give a proper review to address some of the other reviews, bought this kit to do a timing belt on a cjaa (2011 vw golf tdi)This kit works perfectly without any modifications, the bottom crank lock doesn’t fit all the way around the pulley which is correct. The expensive tools fit exactly the same. The two pins with the black nobs do not require anything to make them fit. You need to turn the bottom crank pulley a hair after using the crank lock and the pins will slide right in. That’s how you properly use the tools to lock all the pulleys. Would recommend this tool to anyone doing a cjaa timing belt and wants to save $$
