Pkg was delivered next door. Was on the lookout so ran across to pickup pkg before neighbor caught the error. Based on one of the selling features in the advertising video. The unit could measure multiple times before zeroed. On a number of test, the unit went to negative Nad had to be constantly reset to zero after just about 2 or 3 or 4 measurements.

Checks out, reasonably priced and they give you two extra batteries, which is pretty cool as I said so far so good I would recommend it at this period of time

It's a nice set of digital caliper and feeler gauges. The caliper seems to be made of high quality material and process. But unfortunately the caliper is inaccurate. Please see the attached photo.(Updated 4 days later on 02/27/2024) I returned the item and received a replacement. I checked the accuracy. Now it works! Initial defect can happen, statistically speaking. As long as the replacement works, I'm happy. I will see if this performance will be maintained for the next ten years.

I’m going to use the callipers on wood working projects.I wish the “in†(inches) increments were divided up into 1/8ths instead of 10ths (1-9). However The display can show the fraction as-well-as the measured distance/ calaculation.

all ss not much plastic on this. so far the only thing i don't like it the thumb roller wheel which is a little loose and slopy but otherwise well built. the blow molded case smells moldy not sure why

I bought both 6 and 8 inch versions. The reasons I bought were, all metal construction, big battery, and because of the video on the listing where it shows the calliper zeroing out every time on it's own. I use digital callipers constantly, so to my constant annoyance I have never had a calliper that did that, and the thumb wheel actually works, never seen that before either.
