About this item

  • Four Measurement Units -- Our portable digital force gauge offers flexibility in measurement, allowing you to switch between four units: N (Newton), Lb (Pound), kg (Kilogram), and Oz (Ounce). With a maximum load capacity of 5N/0.5kg/1.1Lb/18Oz, it offers precision measurements down to 0.001N/0.001kg/0.001lb/0.01Oz, ensuring ±1% accuracy. Powered by 2 AA batteries, it ensures uninterrupted operation.
  • Three Measurement Modes -- The force gauge offers three measurement modes for convenience: Real-Time, PEAK, and First-PEAK. In PEAK mode, the instrument holds on to the maximum force displayed on the screen, providing you with crucial data points.
  • Auto Power-Off Function -- To ensure energy efficiency, our force gauge comes with an auto power-off feature. You can set the auto shutdown time between 0 to 15 minutes, with a default of 10 minutes. This ensures that the gauge shuts down automatically when not in use, saving battery life.
  • Minimum Force Shielding and Upper/Lower Limit Alert -- The force gauge offers a minimum force shielding feature that disables the display of readings below 0.5% of full scale. This feature can be disabled or enabled according to your preference, with the instrument defaulting to enabled. Additionally, you can set upper or lower limit values for your tests, and the gauge will alert you when the readings exceed or fall below these limits.
  • Wide Range of Applications -- Our handheld force gauge is suitable for a broad range of applications, including pull and push load testing, insertion force or destructive testing, as well as applications in electrical, hardware, automotive components, lighters and ignition systems, light industry, machinery, and textiles. Its precision and versatility make it an invaluable tool for any industry requiring accurate force measurements.

I often have to do some stress testing on my 3D prints, and before now, all I had was an analog meter. It worked, and had a max hold setting. but it was hard to read and easy to miscalibrate. This gauge is much simpler to use, and readable from any angle. I do wish it were possible to get one accurate over a larger range (I use this one for smaller forces and keep my old one only for > 5N) but that's probably unavoidable. Overall, I'm very happy with it.

This little gadget measures how much force you can push or pull, which is super useful for science projects or testing stuff. It can show the measurements in different units like Newtons, pounds, kilograms, and ounces, which is nice because you can pick whichever one you like best. One of my favorite things about this force gauge is the auto backlit LCD screen. It lights up, so I can see the numbers clearly even in a dim room. Plus, it has an auto power-off feature, which saves battery life when I forget to turn it off. That’s a big help because I don’t want to keep buying batteries. The gauge comes in a nice storage case. It’s also portable so I can take it anywhere I need to go. This is a great tool. It’s easy to use, has good features, and helps me learn more about forces. Great.

I'm very happy with the Mxmoonfree Digital Force Gauge 500N Push Pull Gauge. I am often one to test things (like different tempered screen protectors) and it's impossible to do with a force gauge like this one.The accessories that come with this meter also make it next level. I can test from different angles, and different force directions instead of just one.The screen is easy to read and the batteries last a long time.Highly recommended!

This force gauge worked well for my purposes. I like that it displays on an LCD screen that lights up. With my aging eyes it's harder to read LCD screens that don't light up.

It’s not necessarily the fault of the product but whenever there’s a drop-down menu of choices, I often get the wrong one and then I got the 50N instead of the 5N one. My order says 50mbut I’m absolutely sure that I selected the five this is not the first time this has happened.Horse neater is decently made, and comes with the accessories that you made, but it’s definitely not accurate on the low end. This is precisely why they have ranges of devices, although it would be nice if they could get a little more overlap in them.Make sure you select the proper range and I think the device will serve you well for measuring push or pull. It seems well made enough.

I got this pull gauge for some magnetic force testing I'm currently doing. It's a nice unit, with an intuitive button interface. It comes with a certificate of calibration/inspection, but nonetheless, I did verify it with a few different weights, and it's right on. It seems like the lowest reading it will show is 0.25N (for the 50N version I got), but it gives continuous readings from there with 0.01N precision. One nice feature is that the backlight goes out to conserve the battery when it stays on zero for a few seconds, but as soon as you apply force, the backlight comes back on and stays active until the force is removed again. I have only one slight criticism, which is that the accessories, and in particular, the hook felt a little less robust than I would have liked, though it appears to handle the maximum load of 50N with no problem.

I got this force gauge to measure small forces in devices, like mechanical keyboard activation force. I like the accuracy and many configurable settings. Peak mode and the settable thresholds make this easy, without getting false readings. Worked fine with rechargeable NiMH batteries.Display responds quickly to changes. Precision and calibration were good with test weights, within 1g for a 500g weight, and correct for smaller ones. Precision displayed for this 5N range model is to 0.001kg (1g), but by changing gravity constant to 0.98m/s to add an extra decimal, you can get down to ~0.3g displayed precision by adding a decimal.Menus offer lots of configuration, including beep when above/below settable limits, minimum threshold for peak, threshold below which display shows 0, gravity acceleration constant, and user calibration.Overall unit is somewhat lacking for the price, e.g. compared to their LS-45 model:- Meter is large and bulky.- Viewing angle isn't great, about 20 degrees above center, 50 degrees below.- Attachments are aluminum instead of steel.- Loud beep on every key press can't be disabled.- Default unit at power is always Newtons.- Case lacks cutouts for accessories, which just rattle around inside.
