I got this for my preteen daughter because she really wanted it. She uses it to look at all sorts of random things and textures, and when she goes outside. She's had no issues using it and figured it out on her own. This would make a great gift for a teenager who likes science stuff.

For three whole days my son didn't do anything but magnify everything in his path. I'm colorblind, and need special glasses to see certain colors, but I got to see the RGB on screen pixels and was amazed that those 3 colors can make up everything we see! We looked at the different fibers of clothing, hair, rocks, literally everything he could get his hands on. It even takes pictures so you can store different things you've looked at. Very neat and opened up a lot of conversations for learning (not just for him)!

I am a mom of boys and there are very curious of everything. They love going outdoors, and this microscope has kept them more entertained outside in the backyard exploring and magnifying different things. This is more of a magnifying glass. It’s not actually a microscope. I can appreciate that this device is rechargeable and this does not require any use of batteries. This is a win-win in our house!

Good little microscope. Screen is super clear and easy to use. I have not used the camera function so i can't comment.

This is not quite something you can just unwrap and use immediately. You need to install the included (phew) micro drive, and read the instructions (not kidding). It's also more of a magnifying glass/zoom camera than a microscope. Still fun once you get it set up and figure out the right settings and range, but if you have a STEM-minded kiddo who wants to actually start using a microscope, this ain't it. For that, you will need to get an actual microscope, slides, and dyes from a local university, secondhand store, science equipment supplier, or eBay.

This thing is so freaking cool! The light is great. It charges up quickly and holds a charge too. It comes with an SD card so you can upload the pics (it takes pics!!). This is such a fun toy and was one of the biggest hits this Christmas! Highly recommend!

The advertisement for this Glass is accurate, which is important to me. This Magnifying glass is excellent for examining small curiosities. Very satifited.

This Microscope for Kids with a magnifying glass, screen, and camera function is going to work well at our house. We frequently babysit for our grandchildren. This handheld microscope will be fun to use exploring with them when we go on walks. I am very pleased at how well it works.
