This microscope was built for coins! The viewer is on the larger side compared to other scopes of equal power, which is nice. The battery lasts a long time (be sure to charge the battery to a full before use.) & the lights are bright. It will focus clearly in it's full adjustment range so it does not matter if I have it fully extended or if it's touching down on the coin. I just have to adjust the focus to get a crystal clear image. I have not played with all the functions yet, however I do know that it will connect to my p.c and comes with an SD card. It comes with a cord but not the charging box. So double check the specs on that before plugging it in. It wasn't much so I used a charger I had from an older phone which matched exactly. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who collects coins or is thinking about starting a collection. It's a great price & works better than I expected! 5 stars!!!

I liked the drop in price. I like the features, the ease of use, the 7" screen and it being pretty user friendly. Takes a little time to figure out. Do not expect much from the instructions and have a little patience in mounting the rack that controls the screen and focusing. All in all, it works well in magnifying craft projects and especially coins. For years, I have wondered is that dime really a 21 D; and found out it is!

I use this to sex the molts of my tarantulas. It works well enough unless I'm working with a tiny molt. I need it to zoom in just a little more and be a bit more clear. I also wish it had lights at the bottom. Otherwise it's great

This microscope is what the future is about! The fact that you can view it on the big screen is amazing! I makes everyone instantly involved and curious about what else they can look at. The quality is there and its great way to interact with kids and learn! The picture is perfect, overall a great investment for the curious minds!

Right out of the box, I was a little concerned because the components seemed fragile due to their primary construction material, plastic. Honestly, I don’t know how durable this will be longer-term. That being said, while it lasts, this setup works surprisingly well! The image quality is way better than I was anticipating. I dare say, it approaches good!I inherited a bunch of pennies that my grandfather was checking for errors, and have spent multiple years – off and on – continuing this work. Up until now I have been using various magnifying glass arrangements, with varying results. This microscope has made the whole process so much quicker and, frankly, has returned some of the joy and excitement back to the endeavor. I wish I would have picked up something like this years ago.

We got this for our toddler to be able to look at things because the screen makes it so that kids have a much easier time using it. They can take a look at whatever they want without having to look through a tiny eyepiece and figure out how to close or cover one eye at a time. Also, more than one kid can look at the same time which really makes things easier. Using this is straightforward. You put the item under the microscope and then it shows the image on the screen magnified. It's really a neat thing to have, and if you have a classroom this would be great for a science station.
