I purchased this clock to replace a similar one which I've had for several years. The electronic ringer on the old clock is worn out and I can barely hear it now. This new one has a great ringer with two different loudness settings. It's plenty loud enough to wake you up but not so loud that it will startle you. I use it as a backup alarm for my clock radio, and it will wake me back up if I doze back off while the radio is playing. The snooze function works great, too. The temperature seems to give an accurate reading; it's comparable to my old clock. I also like being able to see the day of the week and the date, as this function was also on my old clock and I am used to seeing it. I am retired and sometimes forget what day it is...LOL A booklet with instructions came with the clock, and I found it easy to follow the instructions to set the clock. It uses two AAA batteries instead of a special button size battery. I don't know how long the batteries will last, but even if they don't last as long as a button battery at least I always keep some on hand because I have other items which use them. So I won't have to go to the store to hunt a special battery. The time display is large, which is helpful for people who have bad eyesight. I've only had it for a couple of weeks, but so far I'm very happy with this little clock!

Update: 11/24/24I have now used this travel alarm a couple of times and would like to add that the clock display is somewhat difficult to read in a dark room (sleeping) for two reasons. There are two light settings and even the "dim" display setting is somewhat too bright for a very dark room. If the clock is placed on a nightstand, almost level with your sleeping position, the clock sits or stands at such an angle that make the numerals' contrast somewhat difficult to read too. The numerals are much lighter in contrast unless you adjust the clock standing angle to a 90 degree angle in relation to your position in bed. I still like the clock, but the display brightness needs reducing one more degree and the display numerals need to have better contrast to read when the clock is standing on a nightstand without having to manually adjust the clock's standing position angle!I purchased the MeesMeek Digital Travel Alarm Clock and, so far, I like it! The clock is about the size of a woman's compact (maybe slightly larger) but it can be easily stowed in any suitcase or overnight bag! You won't have a problem finding a spot for it in either travel accessory. The time display numbers are 1" tall and there is a switch on the side with two settings for brightness, "Hi" and "Dim". Either provide enough light to see the backlighted numerals on the screen. It easily unfolds and sits upright without wobble on any flat surface. The alarm times, day/date, and temp. numbers are all 1/4" tall and easily seen. The temp is in C or F degrees and has been accurate in comparison to my other thermometers. Other than the brightness switch on the right side, all the other control buttons are upfront, below the screen. None of the buttons are lighted so they could be difficult to find in darkness. The combination light (stays on for 5 seconds with push)/snooze button (snooze button resets alarm for 9 minutes later) is on the right end of the line of buttons, red, and has a small ridge on it to distinguish it from the rest of the buttons, if you have to locate it in the dark. The clock come with two AA batteries (which are very easy to install) and a small booklet of clear instructions. The clock has a protective folding cover that protects the screen when closed and forms the base/stand when open. Inside the cover is printed the world GMT time table and the email address for MeesMeek customer support! It has a low battery indicator on the digital screen. Mine is all black with the exception of the red light/snooze button. I am pleased with the time keeping precision so far after having it for about a week. The instructions say the travel clock has a 60 day money-back for any reason and 18 month warranty for quality related issues. At this time, I am pleased with my decision to purchase this travel clock for a little less than $14.

Although this has the convenience of a small battery-powered alarm clock, if you're looking for an accurate thermometer as well, you'll be disappointed. It's nearly 2 degrees off. That said, it's easy to use and has a easy-to-see face.

This remarkably inexpensive clock has several nice features, and you can tell that the maker is very thoughtful about its customers. The time display is large and easily readable even in a dim room. A brightly colored button will light up the display for a few seconds, long enough to read and short enough to conserve the batteries (2 AAAs). BTW, they did not go cheap on the batteries, they are alkali for longer life. The display shows time, date (month/date), day of the week, temperature, and alarm setting. There is a cover that folds underneath to make a stand, and it has embossed info that gives the hours from Greenwich Mean Time for major cities around the world. It touches my heart that they would go so far to produce an excellent product.

I bought the white/green version. FYI: the buttons are closer to a sage green than mint green. This little clock is exactly what I needed: a simple small, lightweight alarm clock for travel or as a second alarm for painfully early mornings in the winter. It's rugged enough, but note that the body is plastic. The cover is snug, protecting the buttons from accidental pressure in luggage. The controls were very intuitive, but it comes with a manual in case you need pointers. Extra points for the date.

I bought this as a back up for my phone alarms, which lately haven't been functioning properly. It's got a lot of great functionality, such as the ability to show the time in 12 or 24h format, the date and day of the week, one alarm that you can snooze for 9 minutes or turn off easily, the ability to turn off your alarm for just the weekend, temperature in both F and C. The backlight can be turned on by pressing any button and has a high and dim setting (the dim setting could be a bit darker imo) and the alarm is nice and loud, which is what I wanted. Overall a great little portable clock that is very affordable. Would recommend.

This is the second one I bought because I liked the first one ... I now use one for travel and one in my bedroom. This clock is easier to use ... for example turning the alarm on and off doesn't require several buttons and it's not temperamental to turn the alarm off like some other alarm clocks I have and have had.. Its slim style when folded takes up less space in my backpack of carry-on suitcase. The cost is quite reasonable too.

Really good little clock with a nice large display. Some excellent features, I really like the weekend mode which pauses the alarm. Nice sized button with a raised ridge which both turns on the light and activates the snooze function. Very easy and intuitive to set up.
