• Can I Use This Converter Box Directly?

No, you need to prepare an antenna (indoor or outdoor). And ensure that the TV tower signal covers the home area.

• Does not pick up any channels even with antenna?

1. Check whether your indoor or outdoor antenna is in the coverage of the TV tower signal,Visit dtv.gov/maps to confirm available channels in your area.
2. Note: Always remember re-scan for channels after moving the Antenna.
3. The number of Channesls searched depends on the signal strength captured by your antenna.

• The DVR function can be done two ways: On the Page When Playing Channels,A recording can start and stop using the PVR and STOP buttons on the remote, respectively, allowing for impromptu recordings at any time.
• On the Page When Playing Channels,The device can also schedule recordings by pressing the Blue button on the remote. From there, the channel, start time, and end time can be set and the box will automatically record and end at the scheduled times. This can also be set to record daily (every day, including weekends), weekly (once a week), or just once. However, the box’s recording functions are limited to one at a time and can only have no more than 30 scheduled recording jobs saved onto the box’s memory.
