I play in an 80s band and we would occasionally get a low hum/buzz from the kick drum. Changing mics, cables, even the drum itself (wood vs acrylic) wouldn't stop the hum which would force us to pull back on volume. That's no bueno with a kick you want that sucker pounding! This little guy did the trick. Ran it from the drum mic with a short 6" XLR to the snake and hum completely gone. Plenty of headroom left, no loss of signal and able to really crank it up! I'd say as a gigging musician you could not go wrong having one of these in your toolkit! Highly Recommend!

I was pretty sure it would fix my issue, I knew the problem, no amount of grounding or ungrounding would fix it, I got this cheap one because it was a single, many are two in two out with both TRS and XLR, perhaps the design on this could be improved by having at least the male side have a TRS XLR combined plug

After moving some equipment and redoing the electrical on our platform, a hum was introduced into our system that is only heard in our monitors. This isolator removed most of the hum; if it's real quiet, you can hear it, but it's about 98% gone. Good enough for us to consider it a success until we can isolate the cause.

I put this between my speaker and my mixer and it literally made the hum three times louder. Took it off and concluded, it created a bigger mess. Maybe I did something wrong. But how simple could it be! I tried it in two different locations and the same results LOUDER noise - REFUND!

Ground loop noise is my sworn enemy. Thanks to this device, It totally eliminated the ground Loop noise from my audio. Not quite sure how it works, but love it to death.

I haven't had any ground hum to properly test this on, even testing while laying cables on a cold cement floor. So, I can just tell you that the build seems really solid, and I think this is a nice passive ground loop isolator. I will be glad to keep it in my tool box, and for the price point, would suggest it for sure.

Installed in several places I thought would reduce hum, and literally no difference. Inexpensive, but useless

I have a hiss in my DJ system and wanted to eliminate the noise. THIS DID NOTHING! Well, it did creat a Humm that is not there normally. I’m sending it back and try a different type and brand.

Raccordés derrière mes enceintes Roland BA-330, ils font disparaît complètement les buzz de masse que j'avais lorsque je montais le volume à la moitié.J'ai poussé à fond les volumes pour tester (sans rien jouer hein !) et je n'ai plus aucun bruit de fond.
