The DigitalLife UMH-10 USB Host MIDI interface offers a convenient means of routing MIDI data between both MIDI and USB interfaced MIDI devices without the use of a computer. The unit features a USB host port (A type), as well as 5-pin MIDI in/out connections, making it the perfect companion for connecting your favorite USB MIDI device or controller to a hardware instrument with 5-pin DIN ports. The USB (B Type) is only an external power interface.

- What is a USB-MIDI-Host ? - The USB MIDI Host is a simple, but very useful MIDI Tool to convert MIDI data from an class compliant USB MIDI device to a normal MIDI device with the 5pin MIDI port. The power comes from a standard USB DC power adaptor, which is optional.

- How to use DigitalLife UMH-10 ? - The usage is very simple: Just connect your USB drum trigger pad, USB controller or USB MIDI keyboard to the USB MIDI host. It will get power from the USB MIDI host device and convert all incoming USB MIDI data and transmit it to DIN MIDI port. The will work with the most class compliant USB MIDI devices, which needs no driver to work.

Super easy to setup and has very low latency. I'm using it in my modular synth rig to connect an Akai LPD8 to an Erica Synths Midi Trigg.

The midi in does not seem to work. Cannot go from midi 5 pin input to usb. That is the feature I needed. According to documentation, this mode needs to be enabled by pushing in the hidden button. This button is shown on the product images, but is not on the unit I received. I received a doremidi UMH-10. The images appear to depict a UMH-21.

nach unzähligen Versuchen, mein Millenium MD-100 Drum-Kit mit dem PC, sowie meinem PS3 MIDI-Controller zu verbinden, habe ich mir dieses Gerät bestellt. Was soll ich sagen: Hochwertig verarbeitet, eingesteckt und sofort funktioniert. Keine Treiber etc., einfach einstecken und los 👍🏼.Jetzt freue ich mich auf die kommenden Rock Band 3 Sessions im Pro Modus :-)Am Mac Book hat das MD-100 ebenfalls einwandfrei (über den USB midi host) funktioniert und im Audio-Midi-Menü ein- und ausgebende Mididaten empfangen und gesendet.Würde ich wieder kaufen.Ich hoffe meine Bewertung hilft dem ein oder anderen Millenium MD-100 Besitzer weiter, da hier im Netz nichts zu finden ist.VG

Arrivato in tempi dichiarati, collegato ad pianoforte Privia 470 casio che ha uscita usb e collegato con modulo arranger, funziona benissimo , latenza inesistente. Finalmente un pianoforte trasformato in pratica in tastiera arranger, ma con tasti pesati. Ottimonabbinamento
