Your cart is empty.Easy to install. The "in & out" markings are on the top of the valve. The top side of the valve is the high pressure side and the bottom side is the low pressure side. The high pressure from the filter housings goes to the "in" on the top of the valve. Then the high pressure "out" goes to the membrane housing inlet. The membrane housing low pressure outlet connects to the "in" on the bottom side of the valve. The "out" on the bottom goes to the tank.

This worked perfectly to replace the failed valve in our RO system. Water had been flowing nonstop through the system at 6-9 gallons per hour. Replacing the valve dropped that to next to nothing.Replacing the old valve was easy. Pushing in the collar around the tubing allowed it to be removed from the old valve and easily inserted into the new one. The sides are clearly marked with “in†and “out†so you don’t mix them up. Don’t forget to drain the tank and shut off the water first. The results can be rather spectacular if you don’t….

First of these 2 replacement valves worked fine, stored the spare. Happy with our RO unit about 25 yrs now…install hints?: Cut off water pressures from house and RO tank, and before removing old valve, note the in/out valve end labels, also record the 4 line locations (pic, labels, or notes). Remove small plastic line locking c-clips. To remove lines, push in the locking collars and pull line out. (can also use open end 5/16†or 8mm wrench to help pushing in these quick release collars, saves fingernails). Reinstall lines on new valve, make sure they push all the way in (about ½â€), then pull outward firmly to seat. Apply plastic line lock clips. If you have a seating leak afterward, remove the ¼†line, and cut off the line’s end. (seating portion only, it probably has surface scratches seeping). Two notes: #1. You can damage/foul these valves when plunging clogged sink drains. If you need to use a plunger, first remove the sink drain ¼†RO drain pipe hose, then wrap towel/rag around the ¼†drain hole opening to catch those small pressure squirts while plunging your sink drain.#2: Occasional gurgling drain sound when unit is removing the wastewater in normal operation? You can shove the ¼ “drain line into the drain pipe a tad further so it drains down the far inside of the sink pipe, and no gurgle. We prefer to leave line inserted slightly and let normal occasional RO wastewater fall/gurgle somewhat down into drain pipe's water trap. A consistent gurgling when close by the sink will let you know when the valve has finally failed and is wasting water all day. Excessive gurgling sounds because you are using more than your usual needs in filter water? Perhaps you just want to silence it for company coming into kitchen? Put your sink drain plug into the gurgling drain side, that muffles the sound.

I replaced an air gap faucet with a less expensive, more attractive and easier to find non-air gap faucet on my RO system by installing this air-gap valve under the counter. I think this set up makes for a better and simpler installation with easier to replace separate components. I looked long and hard before I found this reasonably priced product which works very well. And I have a spare!

In my experience these work but they take several seconds after the water is stopped for this to shut off the waste flow. I thought I had hooked it up wrong or it wasn't working so I tried the 2nd one and it seemed to not be working either. Then while pondering the situation, the waste water stopped. This took like 10 seconds. Not sure why they take several seconds to react, but at least they do. If you need a quicker response time maybe look elsewhere.

So far so good. I spent a LOT of time diagnosing the very slow production problem with our Watts Premier RO+ system. The only thing left on the troubleshooting list was the ASOV (automatic shut-off valve). So I ordered this set. BINGO. Problem solved.TIP #1: These valves are marked IN & OUT on the top. Take the blue clips off and then make sure you put the lines in the same position as your old ASOV. There will be an IN from the cold water line and an IN from the Tank. Make sure the IN from the tank flows through from the OUT side on the same side of the valve. The cold water line IN will flow through to the cold water line that goes INTO the RO manifold.TIP #2: PUSH THE PEX LINES ALL THE WAY IN. They should go in at least 1/2" or so. If it "feels" like it only goes in part way, you have hit the internal o-ring. Keep pushing more firmly to get the tubing to seat all the way. THEN pull it out slightly and put the blue clips back on. Note that some reviewers have reported problems with an O-ring not being centered. If that's the case, return it. You probably can't fix it.

Doesn't come with any instruction on how to install this so it was a little confusing. I basically connected the clean water on the top connection and the waste water on the bottom so when my float valve cuts the flow, the clean the waste water gets auto shut off. I would have rathered I was able to connect my water in line instead of the waste water line, that way I could auto shut off water to my entire RO/DI unit, but when I tried that configuration the waste water wouldn't stop

My system had a slew of issues. Water leaking from air gap. Tank not filling. Tank slow to fill. Water flow from RO faucet weak. I replaced the filters 2 months old. Still not water filtering. Cleaned my air gap. Water still leaked. This or the tank was the last thing to replaced. I replaced this first and immediately everything worked again. The air gap has not leaked water since I changed this. You can hear the system activate as soon as you use water. I will replace every 2 years. My brother's system would not fill the tank. I gave him the 2nd unit and it fixed his system as well. Great product.

This reverse osmosis shut off valve replaced one that decide to give up and start leaking out of 3 of 4 connections after 6 years. Changing out the valve was easy, it's a perfect fit and all the leaks are gone. There are no instructions that come with the valve but the description here on Amazon was all I needed to connect it correctly.Oh and did I mention that you actually get two of these valves for the price of one? Excellent value and now I have a spare if this happens again
