My GE water filter began leaking after 4 years of use, I replaced the o-rings with the new one and it no longer leaks, and the bonus is I have two more!

This O-ring set are the all the correct size and work perfectly but you MUST apply GE WS60X10005 Silicone (available on Amazon) with EVERY filter change. If you don't, the Filter canister will LEAK and removing the canister will require Herculean effort (probably breaking the unit's canister wrench)! This requirement is clearly explained in the Filter's Installation manual. FYI: One tube of grease will last at least 6 filter changes.
