The disco ball light works just as advertised for me. The battery life is actually pretty good. I've been using it quite a bit for around three or so hours most nights, and it's fine. Seems as robust as most electronic items these days, which is pretty good. For the limited thing I use it for, it was a good value, I think. Remember it doesn't come with the ball, so you do have to buy one, which is exactly what they say in the description of the item.

Loved the way the rotated the disco balls and casted color onto the balls. Would love if you didn't have to recharge them so often.

Fun, but honestly, the spinner is a bit of a bummer. You can only run the spinner OR color lights, and for the music function to work the music has to be really cranked up. Big bummer…

After charging daily, we ran it every night the week of Halloween. 2-3 hours each night and it never went dead. Ours is outside in the picture but we brought it inside at bedtime. It is not water resistant. Didn’t want to mislead you by photo. Would work great for a bedroom or classroom. Just know, it does not come with the disco ball. That has to be bought separately. I didn’t realize it and had to quickly get that shipped. It is lightweight. We just used an outdoor command strip to hang.
