this was a very sturdy replacement for the driver side discovery 2 (2003) I would suggest you watch a youtube video and get some trim removal tools before tackling this. I had already done the passenger side a few years ago and there are some tricks that help you. you don't need many tools and is pretty straight forward, great value, I can't imagine how much this would cost at a dealer. determine if you need the motor or the regulator. if nothing happens when you press the button it is probably the motor, if you hear a crash when you are trying to use it the motor is probably ok and you just need this.
