1. Keep dials at "000" and turn the round button to "unlock" position, then open the book safe
2. Move the lock slot from A to B to reset your password
3. Set the dials to your password,make sure all numbers in the center of the dials
4. Return the slot to close position (From B to A)
- Key---It's the same as a normal key, very easy to use.

Its exactly as I expectedGreat sizeIts actually prettier in person imoThe lock mechanism isn't perfect if somene wanted to get in it with tools it wouldn't take much time at allBut I was more concerned with finding a safe that was inconspicuousThis fits the billVery good for the moneyOf course the pages look fake once ur close to it so be careful where u set it up atI think the only way it could be better is if it had a title and not just the butterfliesAlso just a tip-if u have loose items in there place some fabric or cotton or foam in with it so it doesn't move aroundThat way if someone was rummaging through looking for things to steal they might not notice the weight shift n if they didn't notice the pagesThere's a better chance of it not getting stolen
