I love the product. As anticipated it co.es with one 90 degree rigid plastic connector that prevents the dryer hose from kinking or getting crushed when you push the dryer back toward the wall. I bought 2 of them and used one on each end of the dryer vent tube. My connection come straight out of the wall (like most.) So I hooked one up to the wall and the other up to the dryer vent port. The hose gets locked into the well designed clips. Just follow the instructions and this product works very well. I watched the you tube video and it was very easy to follow. I would buy this any time I need to hook up a dryer that has any offset to the wall vent connection. 5 out of 5. This makes sure the link goes out and keeps the dryer working better.

Despite some Real negative reviews I purchased the item. I found it surprisingly easy to use and of good quality. Not really sure why there were so many negatives. One Little tip concerning the silicone gasket. If you find it a little difficult to slip over your dryer's exhaust, soak it in a little hot water before trying to fit it on the exhaust. Or apply a little lubricant to the exhaust. I did use some silver tape to reinforce the hose connection to the adapter although it seemed it wasn't really necessary.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! ABSOLUTE GARBAGE. This might work for older types of dryers, I don't know, but I just got a new LG washer and dryer and this device is cometely useless. The "cinch" straps are way too rigid and it's not going to hold a damn thing in place. I repeatedly tried fitting on the dryer vent and the wall and it pops off as soon as you let go. I used Gorilla tape instead of the useless straps that comes with it. It held a lot better but the elbow doesn't fit securely and eventually popped off again. After patiently trying several times I finally gave up and put this elbow where it belongs, IN THE TRASH. I recently bought a new house and ordered this piece shortly after getting my washer/Dryer. I didn't move in until about a month after closing escrow and didn't get around to trying this install until it was too late to return. That's my fault but very frustrated that the video and description makes it look so easy and that it works. It simply doesn't for newer machines. And what's with the oval end? Which genius thought that was a good idea? Neither the hose or venting ducts are oval, they're all round. Now I gotta figure out how to get this vent hose connected with the 90 degrees I need.

The plastic 90s will not stay on. They easily pop off the back of the dryer and the vent piping, routinely venting the dryer in to our living space. I originally purchased these so it would make maintenance and adjustment of our dryer easier, but if I so much as even touch the fitting it falls off, requiring a frustrating procedure of fiddling in a cramped space.I'm guessing it's from expansion & contraction caused by heat, but there really isn't even an inch of material where it should overlap at the union. If you like the the concept, be prepared to pre-drill some holes and use short self-tapping screws and/or high temp flue tape.

I got two pieces. The corner piece and a regular one plus the actual vent ducting. Easy instructions. Only two minor issues were 1: the rubber rings used to secure the pieces in place were (at least for me), super tight so I used a butter knife and 10 seconds in the microwave to get them flexed onto the outlets. Also, I wanted to cut down the aluminum vent tube and I could not find my wire clippers and after trying with scissors, I got a hack saw and a cutting board and got it cut down. Even with all that, install was around 20 minutes. So highly recommend.

Needed to replace our dryer renting and this adapter made it a breeze. Took less than than 10 minutes to convert from start to finish.

Renovating our laundry room, and I could not in good conscience put the old wall plate back on the wall -- skinny, cheap looking, drafty and impossible to anchor properly to the wall. Went looking for a replacement and was amazed how hard it was to find something better. Finally found this Ziggurat wall plate, which ticked all my boxes. A nice big plate, really substantial attaching point for the dryer vent hose, and able to be properly and positively attached to the wall to eliminate drafts. My only very minor complaint is that they should have sent a set of screws with wall anchors. There is no way you're going to be able to screw all four screws into wood, so they are important to get a good flkush mount. I have a million anchors in my workshop, so for me this was not an issue.
