Does not fit a 13" drum as described, more like 12". Waste of time.

Purchased this product for a 10″ conga cajon. To fit another drum with the same head size, I had previously bought a similar product made by Toca (not purchased from Amazon and costing $5 less than the Rluii product I'm reviewing. The "X8" brand 10-in. djembe cover I've seen on Amazon seems to be the same product as the Toca, judging by the pictures). The Toca cover has some stiffening at the top. The Rluii, which has a fairly thin leather top surface and thin padding underneath, won't likely protect against an impact. (To be fair, that probably isn't its purpose.)In both cases I'm adding several felt discs underneath the top to provide stiffening and protection against impact. On the sides, the Rluii cover has a slightly stretchy mesh-like fabric. You can see through the pores, and clearly if the drum is rained on the water will get through. So the top surface is waterproof but the rest isn't even water-resistant. The Toca product has a non-porous synthetic fabric along the sides that would be waterproof or at least highly water-resistant.The Rluii cover's elastic is lighter-duty but should hold reasonably well if it isn't stressed too often. One thing I like about the Rluii cover is that it extends much less out to the sides compared with the Toca.Rluii might want to speed up the shipping time a bit if they can. And consider making the price a bit more competitive. Something like $14.95 for it makes more sense to me.

The quality was top notch. Did very well covering the drum head. Protective and strong.
