Made of 100-percent cotton yarn. The plastic tube packaging keeps the fabric free of folds and creases and is great for storing projects and supplies. After stitching, hand wash in lukewarm water with a mild liquid soap. Rinse in cold water. Let dry flat. Aida fabric has a precise square-patterned weave with visible stitching holes that makes this fabric easy to use and allows your needle to easily glide through the holes. Each square represents a cross stitch. Comes in 16-count. Made in USA. Available in white color. Measures 15-inch length by 18-inch width.

This is a nice, stiff cloth. In the past, I used a softer cloth. You could get by without using a hoop, but I still like the hoop. It’s a little tough to get on at first, but it works.

I purchased some generic Aida from Amazon last year and have really regretted. It is so stiff. However this brand is always top notch.

I'm new to embroidery... so maybe I just didn't understand the terminology... but it says "count:16". I thought I was getting 16 pieces of fabric. Nope. Just one. That's my fault- I should have googled it.The quality seems good though. I'm excited to start my next project, which will only be my second embroidery project.
