It would have worked for my iPad as a replacement but I found a solution to fix my current charging port. minimal knowledge on micro soldering and you good to switch it out. Very little work to replace when you are already replacing the screenGood oem quality

There is a reason there are not any youtube videos on replacing the charging port. It is micro soldered to the logic board. You will not be able to solder this with regular soldering equipment. I have a nice soldering system for arguing parts. This soldering is so small you will require a microscope. Look up micro soldering to get an idea before you buy this. If you are a professional and can micro solder this part may work for you.
