I looked around checking out various replacement flaps, and I especially liked this one because the flaps are totally clear and the same size as the original ones. Some other brands weren't clear, and I ruled them out. My Siberian Husky likes to run in and out a lot through his doggy door, especially at times coming in from outside. I definitely wanted it totally transparent for his safety so he can easily see through the flaps to make sure he won't run into something.There are two flaps (for inside and outside) with three rivets at the bottom of each. One flap was missing a rivet, but I found it in the plastic bag it came it. Luckily, I was easily able to clamp it in place using pliers, so all is well. It's easy to replace these new ones with the originals (using the original screws at the top - it doesn't come with hardware), and they work great. The old flaps were a bit warped and rather scuffed up dingy dirty from age and weathering whereas these new double flaps really help insulate better once again by magnetically closing properly at the bottom and so noticeably clear it really lets the sunlight shining through. My Sibe loves it too.

The flaps replaced the duel flaps on my Ideal Ruff Weather Dog Door. The design of this dog door provides an inner and outer clear flap. Flaps were pre drilled and an exact fit of the original flaps. Remove three screws from the old ones and the new ones reattach quickly. They also have a polished strip riveted to the bottom of the flap to catch the magnetic latch and stay closed.The day after I installed the flaps, the center rivit fell out of the strip. It could not be reattached, so I just installed a small bolt and nut in this hole. Not such a big deal, but they shouldn’t fall out that easy. A few days later, the center rivit on the outer door feel out as well. Hopefully the other rivits will stay put and not fall out. Overall a great, lower priced flap than the original. Watch the rivits.

It was a huge disappointment. The material feels cheap and flimsy, nothing like the durable. Also, it has an awful smell. Now I really regret purchasing it and will be returning it as soon as possible.

The doors wear out about 1 per year. These look just like the Mfg. just as thick and quality.clarity is nice so you can see the dogs coming in. Hail to the King Baby

One of the two flaps was too short which defeats the purpose of the magnets at the bottom as it does not reach the magnet. One useless flap and one just acceptable.

As long as you get the right size this is a perfect replacement for your dog door flap also comes with the plastic attachment that that broke on my old one where you attached the screws to your doggie door
