This might be better used as a workout weight...The brush is quite heavy with STIFF bristles, and I really doubt it is silicone - despite what the product description claims. I would not recommend using it on a short-haired cat or small dog. Even for a fairly low price, it was a waste of money.

Item was better than I expected. Item is weighted which makes it easier to handle when shampooing my dog. It gets through his coat with ease and easy to clean after use.

I want to buy a grooming brush for my cat, but what I received actually for Tiger or Lion, it's so hard, heavy with no reason.
