I think this gentle leader is well designed. It’s easy to put on and allows my dog to open her mouth fully to breathe. It also tightens quite firmly if she leaps or lunges.

I ordered this to replace our Halti head harness that was getting to be too small and pretty worn. We have used quite a few brands of head harnesses trying to find the best fit. This one is of similar design to the style we find most effective.It is well made, looks beautiful, and is padded on the nose for added comfort. I really like that this one easily loosens on its own when she's not pulling to allow her mouth to open all the way. She can even play catch with this on!I do wish that this one had an auxiliary strap to connect to the collar as a fail-safe, and also to make it harder for her to paw it off her nose. The absence of this strap makes it fairly easy for my pup to slide it off her nose if I'm not paying attention.The harness is slightly oddly sized in that it fits her perfectly around the head just behind the ears, but is a bit too loose along the cheeks and over the nose. It could just be because of the shape of her head though.Most importantly though, this harness does its job. My dog is 80 lbs of pure muscle and she cannot drag me with this on. Without a head harness I can barely contain her when she sees a squirrel or cat and gets.... enthusiastic...

The product seems to be sturdy, unfortunately it didn’t properly fit my Newfoundland’s face. A more adjustable option would have worked better. But I have seen this gentle lead used on other breeds and it was highly recommended by others.

Skinny, Thin, NO PADDING. My reason for ordering was the sturdy look And the Padding. I wouldn’t pay two bucks for it! Lastly, the leash ring to close to the (bottom) tip of my dogs mouth.

Love this product. So much easier to walk my dogs, including my 85 lb Doberman. Fit it made comfortable for the dog

It works better and is more comfortable then the previous one we purchased because the straps are wider. Like the previous one, they both help manage our 80+ pound puppy very well and started from the very first use. The original one with the thinner straps caused sores on the bridge of her nose when she happened to try and pull.

I was unable to use this with my 15 pound dog because it was unable to be decreased in size. I had to return. It looked sturdy, but was unable to use.
