The muzzle was a little too big for my 4lb chihuahua, but it was exactly as described. Sometimes, the weight limits have a little wiggle room, but not in this instance. It did fit her, but it rubs against her eyes and that is going to cause problems in the long run. The material is a bit stiff as well. This product is definitely meant for a pet that weighs more than 4 lbs. If my doggie wasn't too small, I'd say that this was a good product and well worth the price.

It was really hard to find a muzzle that wouldn't get into the eyes of my mom's applehead chihuahua. This one works perfect and it tiny enough to keep the little beast under control. No issues and no physical harm done.

A dollar store item at best. Talk about overcharging! Shameful. Almost $10 for a piece of junk! The first negative was that while trying to adjust the strap to fit my dog it just pulled right out and the plastic piece fell to the ground. Strap is NOT long enough for sure and should be attached to the plastic “ringâ€. The fabric is ultra cheap and junky looking. When I finally got it on my fur baby she literally pushed it off her snout with her paw in less than TEN SECONDS! She’s a rescue and very reactive to other dogs and male humans. I go out of my way keep her away from anyone walking their dog anywhere near us but her last walk of the evening can sometimes be a problem because it’s more difficult to see people in the dark until they’re too close. My ten pound Chilier thought it was a smart idea to yank off her collar to try to lunge after a 75 pound dog the other night. The first thing I always do is pick her up IMMEDIATELY when I see anyone coming but I didn’t see this dog until he was too close to us. This is why I went right home, jumped on here and tried to find something immediately. From now on I will never walk her without a thick harness (never just a collar/leash) and will have to go back to the drawing board to try to find another muzzle to help our situation. DO NOT WASTE your $$$$ on this cheap piece of junk!!!!Can’t speak of anything else (cleaning, drinkability) since we will never get that far. I only wanted this for walks after dark as I really don’t like the idea of using a muzzle.

The first thing our new 15 lb dachshund/Pomeranian rescue discovered was acorns -- acorns which, unfortunately, are in abundance on our property and which are toxic. He ended up in the ER as they feared the hard shell would damage his intestines (they didn't) or cause a blockage (it didn't) and now we have to leash him every time he goes out to do his business. Naturally, he tries his best to unearth those darn acorns so we needed a way to stop him from scavenging until we can properly train him. I bought a cage-type halter which looks promising but I also bought this one for quick trips. This is more like what you'll find at the Vet which is to say it's not going to last a lifetime, but it's adequate to stop him from picking up acorns. The sizing on the chart, however, is WAY off. I measured his snout as indicated and it shows an XS but he doesn't weigh anywhere near the chart's weight of 25-45 lbs. The muzzle fits very snugly, to where he can't eat or drink (he can stick his tongue out a bit) but that's what I want -- no chance to pick up anything as large as an acorn.

The end of the material that goes through the adjustable clip piece was all frayed-lighter fixed that issue real quick. But I also think the strap material should be longer because I’m all the way at the end. I’m gonna have to improvise and stitch the clip in at the very end so it doesn’t slide off when in use. I have a diabetic Pom so this has made giving daily injections easier for the both of us. The muzzle is the perfect size for her noise I just really wish the strap was long and better quality than what I received. If you plan to use for a longer period of time like walks or training then this would be a major fail. Since I’m just using it for a few seconds it’ll do.

This item is great to keep around for pups. I use this on my furry baby when we need to go to the vet. She is very loving but not to the vet. This is easy for her and she is absolutely able to breathe just fine. Never had an issue with comfort and extremely durable and easy to remove.

I use this only when I am trimming the nails of my Yorkie because she becomes very calm and just lays down in her bed no squirming. I can get 3 of her paws done in one sitting give her a break and a few treats to get the last one done and it’s a painless process.
