The construction is good and it does seem to work without any stress to my dog. It goes on and off quickly and easily. My only complaint is the size chart. My dog's chest measures 31" and her waist 26" so I bought the LARGE size which is rated 25-33" chest and 19-28" waist which you would think would be some midpoint adjustment. The fit was way too large. I had to adjust every belt to its shortest length to get the correct fit. I almost ordered the MEDIUM but it does fit so I held off but those size ranges are far too conservative. Now maybe they accidently put an X-LARGE in a LARGE bag but the bag does indicate it is a LARGE size.

My elderly Newfoundland (120lbs) was having great difficulty going up the 3 steps to get into the house. His new harness gives him more confidence and minimal effort on our part to assist him. It’s been a complete game changer!

Purchased this harness for my 80lb dog who tore her CCL (ACL in a human) in her left hind leg. This is her second tear, she had the same injury in her other leg back in 2019 and had surgery. The harness is sturdy, well made and has been VERY helpful in helping me move my dog safely.I have a couple of suggestions to improve this harness. 1- add some padding, fleece or something similar to the belt/strap that goes around the belly of the dog. The strap is pretty hard, meaning the fabric doesn't provide any padding and over time that will be an issue to cause rub sores, and discomfort to the dog. Note this harness should only be on your dog when you need to transport your dog, for me when I take my dog to vet visits, and therapy. DO NOT leave on your dog 24/7.2- The strap that goes under the chest the clip that it goes into the chest harness part is VERY hard to clip into place. The strap that the clip has to go into is so SHORT it makes it difficult to clip into place.3- Give an option to purchase a carrying strap that a person could use to hold up the dog. There are two leash rings, one on the front harness part and one on the rear harness part, so it would be SO HELPFUL to be able to have an over the human shoulder strap to help hold up the dog. I use a dog leash but it only has a snap on one end, so I clip the leash on the front harness, and the loop the leash through the rear harness handle to help carry/support the weight of the dog. If the manufacturer would provide an adjustable length strap with a shoulder pad that had a snap at both ends a person could adjust for length and be able to better support the weight of the pet.Overall, I am happy with this purchase, it was a little cheaper option, and as stated could really benefit by adding a shoulder strap and padding in the belly band. I had purchased a more expensive lift harness and I returned it because it was so heavy, really heavy metal buckles and snaps. But the more expensive one had a super padded belly strap and had included a really nice shoulder strap, which would be really helpful.*I would purchase this lift harness again, just know there are a couple of things that could use improvement.

Once we got the correct size it's been perfect. It was easy to adjust the fit to our dog and works as advertised. We used it as shown for the first 3-4 weeks after TPLO surgery. We left it on him the whole time, it has caused little discomfort to our dog. We have 3 steps into our house that we knew we'd have to use to get him outside & this was perfect for lifting/supporting his rear so he didn't use the leg. Definitely measure your dog; I ordered a size larger the first time because he was at the top end of the smaller measurement--nope that was too big. It is adjustable, the back half separates from the front half so could use as a regular harness. We have a male dog and he has been able to pee with this on & without getting it on the harness. We have a 60 # rescue (Shepard-mix) and got a medium. Definitely recommend.

I have been ordering from Amazon for decades, and this is the first item I have ever had to return (three times!).After carefully measuring my dog and rechecking the measurements three times, I consulted the size chart and ordered a large harness. One of the measurements fell into the X-Large category, but since the other two fell into smaller categories, I went with the large. The large harness arrived Nov. 17, 2024 and was way too big, even with the straps adjusted as tightly as possible. I decided to try the medium, but it was out of stock. Meanwhile, I had to lift my nearly 60-pound dog in and out of the car (he won't do steps or a ramp) and ended up injuring my arm and back. The medium harness finally became available, but what I was sent was a misassembled harness that consisted of a LARGE front piece and a medium back piece! When I went to exchange it for a true medium, the medium was out of stock once again. Eventually received the medium, but it was too small! In the end, I exchanged it for a large harness (the size I had originally purchased three months earlier), and I took it to a tailor and paid to have the straps shortened. Interestingly, the straps that were way too big on the large were the ones across my dog's back (Measurement C) that according to the size chart should have been X-Large based on my dog's measurements!I would give five stars for the great design of this harness with the two handles and for the good material. I was unable to find anything like it online. I am only giving this product three stars because of the inaccurate size chart and the sloppy web page. The measurement chart instructs you to take measurement C on top of the dog's back, but in the (way too fast) video, the person takes the measurement UNDER the dog's chest! Not to mention the misspelling. It's a shame that such a quality product is not better represented. Amazon even notes that it is a frequently returned item.

Desafortunadamente no lo pudimos usar para lo que fue adquirido pues maya nuestra perrita falleció, tenÃa 13 años y ya no podÃa caminar. Hemos adoptado otra perrita y solo usamos la pechera, es Estetica y muy resistente.

We bought this originally to help our 15 yr old, 75 lb Shepherd Husky get his hind end up off the floor, as he has weak back legs. We didn't even think of how helpful it would be to get him in and out of a vehicle. He couldn't get in without a ramp. When my hubby got a new truck, the ramp he built didn't fit anymore, and we had to get him to the vet. We didn't know what to do. My son just picked him up and put him in the truck. Duh! Our dog is so scared of being picked up, he'd growl. It was so easy! He looked scared but it quickly got the job done😄. So happy we bought this!🥰

Bought this harness as my 40kg dog had a knee surgery and needed to be lifted up in and out of the car.I was really impressed with the quality of the harness, so much that I'm now using it daily as a normal harness! Easy to fit on, quick to remove. The handles are very strong and very helpful. The size chart isn't super accurate, I followed the chart but the harness seems a little too big. Not a big issue though.I definitely recommend it
