This is my third one of this kind. Second one I bought a cheap no nameBrand, it was no good. Doheny’s brand works as good as the one I got from the pool company. Biggest problem I had was getting the weights set right on the hose, if the unit doesn’t stand up right they don’t vacuum right. I think a lot of bad reviews are not the unit, it’s the weights not set right.

Very quick delivery. I didn’t know I would have to do some minor assembly on this, however, once assembled, I am very pleased with the vacuum and it has done a good job cleaning my 27’ round pool, with a 1.0 hp Hayward pump motor. I Would purchase this again.

I wish this had worked. This unit is put together far better than any other auto cleaner I have used. My pump system was just a little to weak to run it apparently.

We have a 13,000 gallon pool and this vacuum couldn’t handle it. The suction was great however it didn’t climb all the way up the walls. It would get stuck in the same place often and the troubleshooting ideas in the instruction guide didn’t fix it. We ended up returning it. I think it would do well in a smaller pool.

The Pro Vac is handy tool that compliments my Dolphin. The ProVac seems to pic more floor debris than my 1k dolphin. I am really liking it.

have used a few weeks,it does the job moving around pool(18feet x 38 feet) and cleaning bottom and sides. it can get hung up on steps, i need to check it now and then. I have reinforced the center of the BOW as it drags against surface of concrete pool and is the weak link in the unit. can be fixed by adding layers of 1 inch pvc wraps--an easy fix if you are handy
