We put this thing to work immediately because honestly, with it being priced at the top of the market I wanted to start getting my money worth right away! In cases you’re wondering we have extended pool seasons in Texas today is 10/5 and it was 95 degrees!The thing that wowed me the most about this robot is its amazing wall climbing and wall clearing abilities! Say goodbye to that dirty water line that you usually have to scrub out with man power!! Another cool feature is that thing that looks a handle isn’t actually a handle (even though it’s great for that), it’s a stabilizer that makes this machine stick to your wall like glue giving it the force it needs to clean your walls thoroughly! So the big question is, “is it worth the money?â€â€¦. I’d say heck yea! This is an early review so we’ll have to see about durability but based off what I’ve seen in 3 days, I think I’ve bought my last pool robot!! I’ve never had one last more than 2 summers but this thing is built well and it seems like it’s going to last!! We’ll see…. I’ll do an update next season!

In ground swimming pool. When I got to my son’s home in Murfreesboro Tennessee his pool needed help. We selected the Premier Dolphin because my cousin in Arkansas purchased the same unit about 3 weeks before. They loved it! Ease of using and cleaning the filter after using it was the bomb.What he didn’t get with his and I believe he’s going to is the complete set. Premier Dolphin, caddie and cover. The pool had sand in the bottom when I got there and my son just gave up trying to get it with the hose and vacuum. Water was cloudy and dirty on the walls and floor of the pool.I thank my brother of another mother the lessons he taught me about pools. He was a sub-contractor with Watson Pools back in the day. 2000 was the year. I told Reed in the end we’re are going to bust open the Hayward 300# sand filter system and make sure it was clean.Found the problem real quick. Yes the sand needed changed, had only about a 150# in it. No wonder it was kicking sand thru the returns. Made a believer out of him the importance of checking it every year. Now it has 300# new sand and plugged off the old cleaning device the previous owner had. Pressure increased and now water is moving like it’s suppose to. Made a believer out of his mom too. It’s been 10 years on her pool!!

Shipping was excellent. Product works well. The problem was the power unit failed in October of 2021. It is now February 2022.We have called numerous times. Initially we were told no problem. Three weeks went by. Nothing. We called a month later. It should ship soon was the response. Again nothing for a month. We have called twice more. With the same. It’s a priority and shipments are going out.Clearly when they can sell new products online but they won’t replace defective products their warranty is useless.Clearly the company does not want repeat business.Follow up from their end has been zero!!

Very, very pleased with this purchase. It has several filters which works great for either leaves or algae. It’s quiet, does NOT require a booster pump and even climbs up the walls. My husband selected it due to high ratings and it was a great choice. Gets the pool clean in WAY LESS time than the Polaris ever did and never gets tangled up or stuck in a corner of the pool. Definitely recommend.

I needed to replace my old Polaris and saw that this Dolphin had good reviews. My experience with the device resulted in a return for two reasons:1) The basket this thing uses is basically some filters attached to the bottom panel. It really isn’t a basket at all and cannot be any less user-friendly. Turning the thing upside down and attaching/reattaching the bottom grew tiresome. The panel/filters were also much more challenging to clean than a typical basket. My wife, who has the patience of a saint, was even starting to get irked cleaning this thing.2) I chose this specific device for the ability to use the smart app control. I am a tech person who owns a home with a ton of smart devices. As a result, I know how easy it is to create an app that connects to a device via wifi or bluetooth. Unfortunately, I erred in not researching the Dolphin iPhone app before buying their products. Yes, it appears to be rated highly, but sorting by most recent reveals an infinite number of 1-star reviews. It’s safe to say I never got the app to connect to the Dolphin device, which is simply inexcusable for any product at this point.Lastly, I will say that Dolphin has many different pool vacuums and it did a good job of cleaning the pool. Therefore, if you want a Dolphin, find a cheaper one with the typical overhead basket. Also go into it knowing that app will not work.
