These traction boards are great. You can't beat them for the price($51). Even if they get you unstuck and break, they're still worth every penny and practically disposable at this price point. Not that I'm saying the quality is disposable because it's not. The quality of these traction boards is great but I'd much rather wear these out or break them then spend a fortune on Maxtrax. The boards themselves work well, however, I haven't gotten stuck enough to really test them. They super easy to use. I like that these also come with a storage bag which is typically unheard of at this price point. The bag doesn't really do much good if your mounting these on your vehicle for show but I like having the bag. Overall, I wouldn't think twice about buying these.

I have already used these to help a 3/4 ton truck get out of deep sand. They held up to the weight and performed well. They have built in carrying handles and can be used to dig sand. The size is a good compromise. Good value.

My truck is a 2WD, and it gets stuck all the time, as soon as i leave the road, which sometimes i have to do. These would be great for a 4x4 also, but i can’t comment on that. These come as a set of 2 in a cheap nylon zip up bag. The bag is so cheap it was already falling apart, before i even took it out of the box. When i received the boards, they already had some dirt spots on the bottom, so maybe its been used and returned , not sure. The boards are made from bright red plastic, which makes it stand out in any environment, even if buried in the mud. Each board has 4 handles, and is roughly the width of my tire, and i thought it would be a little longer, but this size should work too. The entire surface is covered with “knobsâ€, to increase traction, otherwise I’d nowhere on slick plastic. They are still plastic, so not very aggressive, but better than nothing. The ends are slanted, so i can shove the end right under my tire, which is a big deal. If i can’t get the board to make contact with the tire, it’s kinda useless. There are also 4 holes in each board, assuming for drainage, or possibly designed for a mounting system of some sort. . The plastic is kinda hard and while no issues yet, i’m somewhat concern about it cracking after being exposed to elements and UV rays. Even though they are not big, the storage is an issue for a small truck. For now they live behind the seats, but maybe in the future i’ll come up with a way to mount them somehow

These recovery traction boards are built well and come with a great case. I was happy to find these relatively inexpensive traction boards in the color to match my truck's accessory color (red) and these look great. Upon first use, they worked like a champ. In order to test these, I went off-roading last week and found these to come in handy in the sandy areas I was playing around in. There was a deep rut where I wasn't fully stuck, but I wanted to put these to the test and they worked great. They're quite strong with a little bit of flex so they don't break in use. The traction on each board allowed my tired to grip them well and pulled the truck out of the rut with relative ease. I really like the carrying case these come in because I only need these in my truck when off-roading. It also keeps the sandy/muddy mess inside of the case so you can wash everything off when you get back home without causing too much of a mess inside of your truck/SUV. Great product!

These feel very tough. The grip pattern is built into the plastic mold construction. They are heavy enough that they won't snap under the load of a truck or other offroad vehicle. My main gripe is how long they are. I think they could have shrunk it by a foot in length and kept the width and the functionality would have been the same. Their length makes them more difficult to store, especially if you wanted to keep it in your vehicle.

Seems to have enough flex to conform to uneven ground without breaking. I will definitely be bringing these along every time I need to drive on the beach as sometimes you just need a bit of help to get a few feet away from a troublesome spot. I like that it includes a carrying bag which unzips on three sides, so you can put away the dirty boards without smearing dirt onto the outside if you are carrying these inside the vehicle.

This is a great set of traction boards. They are not too heavy but strong enough material, they should hold up to repeated use. They come in a very simple lightweight storage bag. Don't expect the storage bag to take a beating.

Now i can say, great board. Withstand rough recovery and weight of heavy duty diesel pick up truck.Did not break. Sturdy but blex enough to bend under the weght and return to the original shape.Definitely worth 60 bucks and very useful for off road adventure.
