Unlike one other that I returned that was cheaper in price, this one has a POLISHED brass finish. Falsely incorrectly described ones stated polished brass but when I received it from Amazon it was a brushed brass finish. Good direction sheet with the kick plate. The backing metal is aluminum as described so do not overtighten the screws if you want to avoid it bending.
