Worked great on a door with a large gap. Also cut down on exterior sounds. Really works well, easy installation.

The one sold locally appeared to be about 1.5" max and the new house we got had a few doors with 2.5" gaps underneath so this worked out well. Noise/sound cancellation is so-so but it does block the air circulation better. Installation can be a pain for a single individual due to length. If you have a guide in place then I imagine it'd make things easier because once you place it, you cannot remove or reposition it without either peeling off the paint and/or messing up the adhesive part. You want to place it (ideally) almost flush to the floor but not so close that it will actually drag and make noise. If it is placed that low, with time and opening and closing the door, the adhesive part may come apart (peeling the paint in the process). So, if unsure, error on the side of leaving 1mm-3mm gap at the bottom between this and the floor. Here is a tip to ensure such a gap: Place 4-5 pages of 8"x11" printer paper on the floor when placing this so when you remove the paper sheets, it should give you the ideal gap at the bottom.

I bought a house and put in hard floors; but the interior doors were cut for carpet, leaving a huge 2" gap at the bottom of the doors. This left too much light and noise coming in, keeping me awake at night. My cats also seemed to think they could squeeze under the doors, they can't, and I was concerned they would get injured. Most of these draft blockers are only 2" high, but this one is 3", a perfect height to stick to the door and cover the 2" tall gap. The brown color blends well with the walnut colored doors.I only bought one for now 'cause I'm not sure what we will be doing with the doors right now. We might paint them white so I'll want a white color. We also might replace them completely so they are the correct height. This draft blocker is a good temporary solution to an annoying problem.

I received this product and cleaned the bottom of my door very well. I left it about a quarter of an inch above the floor, and it seemed to stick very well so far. The problem I have is when I’m on the other side of the door, I can still feel quite a bit of cold air coming out of the entire space which is 2 inches. I was hoping it would work better to stop the flow of the cold air coming to the other side of the door

I live in a house where the former owners must have just picked up pieces of wood and said let's make an addition. The back screen door is cut at a slant to match the porch, which is also at a slant. There is about a 2.5 inch gap between the door and the piece of board they nailed above it at one end. I'd have to take out the door, build a new frame to keep the wind and snow out of the sunporch. I'm just not really up to that task. Even though this is for the bottom of the door, it worked perfectly to fill the gap at the top. It is quite thick, yet pliable. The adhesive is pretty strong, but I'm going to screw it in just to err on the side of caution. The plastic is thick enough to handle screws. I am going to purchase another roll for on the outside of the door and frame it instead of cutting straight like I did on the inside.

I’ve tried other door draft stoppers but the extra wide size made the difference. Easy to install and cut to size. Strong adhesion to the door. I do recommend using the hair dryer along glue line for better adhesion.

I like that it is easy to install. I hope the adhesion lasts. Too soon to tell if it will work. It's a beautiful spring day. I will know in the winter if it is useful or not.

The specification told that it was 3" in width but it was of just 2".Even the quality was poor.So I returned it.

This adhesive strip was the easy solution that I've needed since I bought my home. Installation was simple. I needed to measure the length of my door, cut the strip with a pair of scissors, line up the height, then pull off the adhesive strip and press the rubber strip onto my door. The strip is malleable enough that you can adjust for slight height changes as you're applying the strip, so it fits snuggly against the doorframe to prevent drafts, dust, and bugs from getting inside. The adhesive is really good. Just make sure to clean the surface before application. I definitely recommend this door sweep weather stripping!
