The padlock user instruction below is still applicable to the padlock included in Gascem pack even though the Gascem padlock has 4 dials compared to the one illustrated in the diagram.
The default number is 0-0-0-0. To set your own combination, please follow these easy steps:
- Pull the shackle up to open the lock. See (a) on the diagram above.
- Rotate the shackle 90° counterclockwise and press all the way down. See (b) on the left diagram. Hold the shackle down and continue to turn it another 90° counterclockwise. See (c) on the diagram above.
- Set your own combination number by turning the dials. The padlock illustrated on the diagram above has 3 dials while the one included in Gascem pack has 1 more dial.
- Turn the shackle back as normal. The setting is complete.
To reset a new combination number, please repeat step 1 to 4 on the diagram above.

I use this to keep a bedroom closed in a house that I list on airbnb. It works as advertised and is easy to put on and off. It is a little large on the door knob that I have, but still keeps the room locked. If you're looking for something extremely secure, this might not be it, but it works fine for my purpose and was easier than changing the whole door knob.

This is a super affordable and quality gadget that I like to have on hand.I host a lot of events at my house and like to have the option to lock things up. I can use this to lock up a room, and then it's locked from the outside (nobody in there). I've also used it occasionally when entertaining to lock up guests belongings. It just gives added peace of mind for all involved and at this price point, why not?

If you need to to keep an animal that can use a doorknob in a room this might be good. A 14 year old got past it with east. Lock does not hold it closed tight enough. Waste of money.

I bought this door handle lock to keep on my guest room door knob because a certain little person kept going in there messing it up. I wanted to keep the room tidy so it’s ready for a guest. It works perfectly and has sent the message about negative consequences for not respecting boundaries.

You might as well just buy one without a lock, my lock came broken and won’t let me reset or close it. So just save your money😒
