I doubt that many buyers of this item purchased it for the reason I did; but I have a cat that chews up everything (lately, that including the electrical plug, situated in the middle of an electrical cord, underneath my power reclining chair). She will chew through anything, and none of my other efforts to try to save this plug worked. I looked for something to protect it and looked on-line through baby safety products, electrical cord protectors/ organizers/ lockouts until I came across this. It is absolutely perfect for my needs!! Within less than a minute of taking it out of the box, it was locked onto and protecting the plug. Thank you for such a great product!!u

Nice pack to have with necessary parts, good for family use. Safe plastic plug, solid lock and sign. For the lock, the key has to stay in or you are not able to lock it. It also comes with a small plastic bag, so that you can put them together easily.

I am sorry to say that as an Electrican of over 40 years. These breaker lockouts would work. They are dangerous.
