For Doorbells
1.Keep adapter unplugged.
2.Install wires from 24 volt adapter into the terminals for your doorbell unit (Simply attach the two exposed copper wires to the doorbell and tighten the screws, regardless of positive or negative polarity)
3.Plug adapter into outlet.
4.Power up and verify your doorbell is receiving necessary power using the accompanying application.
For thermostats
1.Cut off the power of circuit breaker.
2.Install the wire from your 24 volt adapter to the “C” terminal and the other wire to the “RC” terminal. You need to use included jumper and connect from “RH” to “RC” terminals，if HVAC system has a cooling.
3.Plug the power adapter into the socket and turn on the power of the circuit breaker. Install the panel on the thermostat.

- Install any wire from the 24 volt adapter to the "C" end and another wire to the "RC" end. If your system has a cooling system, you may need to use the included diode and connect the “RH” to the 'RC’ terminal.
- Plug the power adapter into the socket
- Open the circuit breaker power supply
- Install the panel on the thermostat

I bought this for my 2024 Ring Battery Doorbell Pro. I was actually about to return it because the battery percentage kept dropping from a full charge, despite the device power source reading “hardwired.†Turns out the ring doorbell either charges up or depletes down to an 80% battery level. It’s just how this doorbell model manages the battery. Otherwise, the charger works perfectly as advertised and powers the doorbell just fine. I appreciated that the cables are particularly thin, at least compared to competitors. Installation was easy. The length was a little overkill for my needs, but the price was markedly less than the official Ring hardwired charger.

This transformer worked great on my ring doorbell for exactly 2 and a half months. Then, with no warning, it simply stopped providing the doorbell with power. I would not recommend!

I’ve had this doorbell installed a little over a year. I usually could get a few months before needing to charge it. Since I recently got new neighbors that walk through my front yard daily and set off the motion detection at least 3-6 times a day, EVERY DAY, I barely get a month before the battery is low. I got this to keep a constant power supply.This adapter is working so far. I had to do some troubleshooting at first. It does matter what side you connect the wires to so switch them if you don’t have power at first. At first it only showed that the power supply was the battery in the ring app even though the doorbell button light was on. After I rebooted the doorbell it would finally show that it was hardwired. If you see the doorbell button light is on when plugged in but the app says the power supply is battery not hardwired try rebooting the doorbell.Also I recommend testing it out before installing the doorbell on the mount. I ran the wires behind the mount so the doorbell would sit flush.My main concern at this point is how thin the wires are. I don’t know how well this will hold up to the weather and wear from opening and closing the door. I don’t have the option to run the wires in the wall. I may try covering the wire with electrical tape for some added protection.
