How to Connect?
1. Switch off the power.
2. Connect the wire from the adapter to the terminal Rc (or R) and C (the wire is non-polarity).
(You need to use included jumper and connect from “RH” to “RC” terminals，if HVAC system has a cooling.)
3. Plug the adapter into the socket and switch the power back on.
4. Check your thermostat is receiving necessary power.

I wonder if this is a frequently returned item because it takes a small amount of fiddling with the wiring. I’m sharing my photo because a photo from a different review was very helpful to me. I installed in about 5 minutes. Only tip I would add: when you slap the nest face back on it and plug it in, just give it a minute to figure out that it has power. My batteries were low and shut off the face while I was installing this product. I was worried I shorted it or something because it became unresponsive but it just needed to gain some “juice†and wake up.

If you have a 2 wire system for your boiler and are trying to run a smart thermostat this is exactly what you need. Nice and simple install.

I was unable to use this device and wish to return it. I attempted to connect a NEST thermostat, however there was no Y cable connection for my heat pump. I purchased a DEWENWILS Digital Temperature Controller instead.

This was very difficult to figure out how to wire it. Yes it will do everything ut says. I just wish it would have come with better institutions. I once installed this thermostat works great. Looks good, and is compatible with both Google Home and Alexa. Only issue is if you're replacing your antique thermostat with this order the "Nest" transformer and save yourself a lot of work. If you don't need the transformer you can return easier then waiting for it.

It works and the cable is very easy to hide. Only issue is the fit which I'm not sure if it's the product or my outlet but it had trouble staying on. Remember to restart the Nest Thermostat and check your settings for detecting new wires.

Purchased this to use with the Honeywell T9 Smart Thermostat (due to no C wire, old 2 wire heat only furnace). Works like a charm!!

This gives power to my thermostat allowing it to work normally but it doesn’t charge the thermostat enough so my thermostat is stuck on low power mode but doesn’t shut down.
