Shipped quickly and came as advertised. Kinda narrow string spacing for a Fender bass headstock .. 1 or 2 mm more on the spacing would have made it perfect. My G string bends inward towards the D string just a wee bit , But I just bought it to add a bit of tension , wasn't going for full contact ...so it will work great.Sure a hipshot string tree is a better fit for a Fender headstock , but for the price of this Dopro.... its worth every penny .

It’s literally an exact fit for a Jazz bass string spacing. I have also used it on a Precision bass. It’s a little tight, but still works.

Really pleased with this, great fit for my MIM P-Bass. Solved the 'boing' sound on my A string and replaced the round string tree holding the D and G strings too, gives it a nicer look. Appreciate that it came with screws.

The screws are way too short, and the string spacing is a tad too narrow for a j-bass set up. I would not recommend this for the wider p-bass neck.

If you need to pull the strings to say, clean the fretboard, no can do. Your middle string is trapped and needs to be unwound to remove, further increasing the chances significantly of breaking the strings. Additionally, it cuts the twine on the strings and exposes them, thus shortening the string's life. Get a hipshot or clone that has the quick release for all three strings instead - virtually the same price point.

Put this on my old Kramer bass and it aligned the ADG stings much better to the nut.

Looks like a decent product but should be known that it will not fit wide spacing like a P Bass .

These things are made of the cheapest possible material. The screws started to strip and the string retainer started to mar during attempted installation. These are utterly pathetic excuses for bass hardware.
