I bought these to cap all the openings on a SBC engine( carb fittings, water pump heater hose outlet, manifold vacuum port, etc). I am storing a fresh built 383 stroker I built for next spring and wanted to keep all openings from getting debris or critters.They seem to be made from a decent material.

Used two of these to close off the visibility spout on my yamaha Waverunner, fit perfectly. Thick rubber on the walls of these caps.

I bought this pack because the bypass cap on my radiator had dry rotted and was leaking. I was admitted too lazy to measure so I bought this multipack to determine what size I needed. The cap did it’s job but slightly leaked if my drive was longer than 20 or so minutes. Definitely would not have trusted this for anything more than “just around town†driving to work and for errands.I ended up buying a reinforced cap of the same size for long term use, but I was glad that this worked for correct sizing and as a temporary solution. I keep the one I replaced in my glove box with an extra clamp in case of emergency.In a pinch, these will work but I wouldn’t trust them as a long term solution.

The 1/2" caps were a real pain to find as they kind of straddle the gap between vacuum caps and bypass caps, this kit was one of the very few places I could find them.

This is the only way to get 1/2" vacuums caps that I could find. Overall not bad for the price.
