Amazing product! We bought it after my vc boot went out and needed it fixed quick. My husband got it on easily in about 30 minutes and it’s fit perfectly on my 2015 Jeep Renegade. It’s lasted great so far and works perfectly. I’m glad I looked for a diy, I much prefer this value over the $500 I was being quoted to fix it. Great value product.

Boot was really tough to align and once you got it together, you have to take it apart to put the glue in. Overall a pretty difficult installation.

This is very bad design! The screw to join together are very hard to work with and they don’t closed the joint 100% causing it to leak out and eventually split open

The diameter of the opening was too large for clamping on Dodge Grand Caravan 1994 and I had to modify considerably to make work to seal seam. Also had to bend and grind the strut frame where made contact to insure didn't destroy when hit by oversized rubber ribs. I had to destroy the old boot so wasn't until application realized that I had to be committed to make it work.

Failed only 1-month after install, screw locations started cracking off, flinging grease around again. Don't bother, buy a new axle with new CV boots already installed, they are cheap.

Throughout my lifetime I have been known to spend some of my money foolishly by some people's standards. I have bought things that will only be valuable to me and I have had to endure some grief for those things. This thing, that I had to buy because I had no other choice at the time, may go down as one of my worst purchases of all time. When I saw it at the store- I thought this thing will never work, but after some encouragement from the sales person that these boots are in use and are the only ones I could get, I bought one. Once I started to put it on I regretted cutting my cracked one. The bolts slip through the holes, it is hard to clamp on and when it flexes it opens gaps. I had to put sealant all over it as I foresee it leaking grease and allowing dirt/water in.Find a solid boot, there is no better way.
