Bought this for my 1983 Saginaw pump on my Jeep and the pump shaft is 0.75" and the pulley insided diameter was 0.73 wouldn't fit . But that's what I expected from dorman .. not my first choice but couldn’t find a new one locally.

It was a bit too tight on the pump shaft and almost destroyed my install tool. I had to use my die grinder to open the hole up a bit to install.

I did a small block chevy engine swap into my 1985 2wd S10 blazer and I used the stock Saginaw power steering pump, but needed this press on pulley to make it work! Highly recommended! 👌

Hello,I was having to guess what pulley worked with what pump.So here you go!Remanufactured Power Steering Pump With Reservoir by BBB INDUSTRIES - 731-2152I left the Pump in the freezer for a couple hours, I used, 8milelake Power Steering Pump Pulley Puller Remover Installing Tool Kit Compatible for GM & Ford from Amazon.Worked a treat! Put the pulley puller in a vise once you are ready to press. It takes a lot of mustard to put it on, you will not be able to hold it!!Good luck!!

At first I thought it was going to be too tight to fit on, you definitely are going to need the pulley installer, with the pulley installer it went on like nothing, was a piece of cake. The puller/installer is a free rental at Canadian Tire if you don't have one. Don't try to install it without the puller / installer you will break your pump ( no I didn't break my pump) don't worry if the original pulley on your pump is slightly bigger or slightly smaller all you need to do is get a slightly bigger or slightly shorter belt.
