The parts included with this item should be enough to get it working on most carbs. I would not say easy to install, takes a little planning and thinking. The angle of the cable where it attaches to the choke lever is important. And you have to learn not to pull very hard or fast on the knob, once you use it a few times they work well.

I installed this in place of the electric choke on my Edelbrock 1403 carb and it works way better! Good quality, completely custom fit, great value!

Holley electric choke is possibly the worst thing to happen to carburetors. It’s either you g to open to early or too late there is no in between. After 20Years of trying to get it to work right I threw in the towel. There are a few options here. A $50 manual choke setup from holley, a $50 temperature controlled switch to delay the opening of the clutch or a $10 manual conversion kit. I chose the cheaper for my quick fuel brawler. Installation was straight forward using the supplied cap.Running and mounting the cable is the universal part. Every car is different and every setup is different. You may need to buy different bolts or a different bracket but with some thought and patience it will work. Just try to keep the bends in the cable as wide as possible. If you’ve kinked the cable, you are absolutely doing it wrong.Once you get the length you want, just pull back the cable (you can technically pull the cable out of the protector completely if you run it right). Cut the outside sheath reinstall the cable. You could even grease it while it’s out. Do all of this and in 10 minutes you’ll have a cheap and affective answer to holley’s terrible electric choke.

While this is primarily to most a choke cable, I got it to use as a fuel shut off for a diesel who's original electrical cutoff has long since gave up the ghost, all the parts are there, shipping was on the ball, works just as you want it to. Decent build quality, it's universal so fitting it is up to the user, and the price was right considering th it xtras beyond just the cable itself.

Used on 1976 D100 pickup. The cable to control the heat locked up, could not find a replacement, Gave this universal a try and with a few modification got it hooked up and working.

This is a great tool kit, long cord and will fit many applications. This one is a winner.Very easy instructions and many small extra parts to fit any carb set up. My golf cart loves it and so do IMuch cheaper than the Yamaha original part and works just as good.Thankyou
