Mine was rusted and the O-Ring was worn out. It had not leaked yet but since we were doing the intake Plenum and had removed this and noticed the rust/etc, we replaced it. I'm guessing this Dorman part is good. For years Dorman was high quality. Recently however I had a quality issue with a Dorman EGR value. (It never worked)I'm sure that replacing this will give me 5 more horsepower. (just kidding)

I bought this part to replace an old rusty one as preventative maintenance when replacing the water pump and it fits just as good as the factory one I have had no issues at all with it. I would defiantly recommend it.
