I am very happy and satisfied. The product fit well and operated smoothly. Wiper Arm Attachment Nut not included, so don’t lose the old one. In case you do, thread specs are: M16x1.0 for larger base threads, M8x1.25 for smaller threads at end of shaft that secure Wiper Arm.I was amazed how badly corroded old unit was. Shaft was completely corroded inside housing and wiper motor could not turn it. In fact, I broke the old bracket in half beating the old shaft out to inspect it. See pics. (Shaft has been semi cleaned in the picture.)When new part arrived, I disassembled it and packed it with Anti Seize Grease to try and increase life expectancy. Very happy I can see out my rear window again. Good luck DIYers.

I’m always a little leery about ordering parts for my truck online. After pricing dealer parts I decided to go with an aftermarket part. It wasn’t the cheapest one online, but came with other good reviews. Glad to say it lived up to the job. Will order from this dealer again.

2004 Ford Expedition rear wiper transmission seized up from age and saltwater weeping around seal on original. This is probably all you need if your wiper is not working, the actual wiper motor could still be good. Disassembly takes a bit and after you install the new one you may have to spend some time adjusting the latch striker to make sure if catches the latch assembly reliably.

This product was the correct replacement part and therefore a perfect fit for the original. This product was easy to install on my 2009 Ford Expedition. Please keep in mind you will need a large 23mm socket in order to loosen the outside retaining nut. This is larger than what is found in most homeowner's socket wrench sets. The other sizes needed are a 13mm to remove the outside nut holding the wiper arm in place, and an 11 mm to remove the 2 inside bolts that hold this part to the rear windshield glass.
